European stock markets are expected to open largely higher Wednesday, as investors digested comments from Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell ahead of more major corporate earnings. European stocks are seen taking their lead from Wall Street, which closed firmly higher Tuesday after Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell struck a less hawkish tone than feared during a speech at the Economic Club of Washington D.C.
